Water bending of the staves during manufacture (rather than bending over an open fire) results in significantly less tannin impact, allowing better fruit aromatic and palate expression.. Appears to build mid palate texture and integrate earlier. Works particularly well with Chardonnay, Aromatics and Pinots, where there's already enough grape tannin.
Tight Grain Only. Toast levels: Light Long/Medium Long/Medium/Medium +/Heavy. Seasoning: Standard or 3 year.
